Francesco Colombo

I am an assistant professor at the Collegio Carlo Alberto in Turin. I obtained my PhD from the European University Institute in 2022. After my PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Aarhus University.   

I study political behavior and public opinion, using experimental and observational data. My main research interests lie in:

• voting behavior (far-right and populist parties)

• political nostalgia

• trust and social capital

• economic inequality

• social policy preferences

My work has been published and accepted in Comparative Political Studies, Political Psychology, Public Opinion Quarterly, and the European Journal of Political Research.
